Nitin Sawhney - Dystopian Dream
Nitin Sawhney’s new album is out today – his tenth and the first in four years!
Nitin Sawhney was always a musical pioneer and is generally a legend for his relentless pursuit of new sounds and boundless musical vocabularies. He spearheaded the 90’s “Asian Underground” movement with his ground-breaking and Mercury-nominated album, “Beyond Skin” and The Guardian have been quoted saying: “It would be easier to jot down what this man can’t do than what he can.”
His new album features collaborations with Eva Stone, Akala, Joss Stone among others and the cover artwork is an amazing portrait of Sawhney painted by artist Paul Benney.
